The job. The relationship. The friendship you've been in since 2004. You've been staying in all of it, and somewhere in there you left yourself.
Eight weeks to come back.
One Woman
An eight-week group program for women.
Ten women, eight weeks, one small group.
Where this starts
You've already run the numbers on leaving.
Maybe they don't work. Maybe they don't work yet. The mortgage is real, the insurance is real, three more years is three more years — so you're staying. For the good of the family. Which is true. It's also why you've never said a word about it. You chose this, and you'd choose it again.
So the question was never how to get out.
The question is what you're doing with what happens in your body at 2:15 on a Tuesday.
Because it goes somewhere. You hold it when he says your idea back to the room ninety seconds after you didn't. You hold it when someone asks you to "just take a quick look" at 4:55. You hold it in the parking lot, which is where you do most of your best work.
Then you walk in your own front door and somebody asks what's for dinner and gets a tone that has nothing to do with dinner.
The people who earned it never see it. The people who love you get all of it.
That's not a temper problem. That's a woman with nowhere to put it.
And it's not one problem, either. There's the woman you are at work — careful, competent, measured, reading the situation before she speaks and editing accordingly. There's the woman you are at home, accommodating, easy to be around, absorbing everyone else's day. Then there's the woman you are alone with your thoughts at 2 AM, who knows things she hasn't let herself say in years.
You've been running all of them. You've been running them so long you stopped noticing you were doing it, and the tiredness you feel isn't about your workload. It's about the staffing.
Underneath the running, you've been waiting. Waiting for the culture at work to shift. Waiting for someone to notice how much you carry so you don't have to say it. Waiting to be handed permission to want something for yourself.
That permission isn't coming. Your company isn't going to change. Your mother isn't going to change. The people around you have had years to become different and they haven't.
Which means the change is yours. It happens inside you, which is the only part of this you have any control over.
Eight weeks from now, there is one of you.
Tuesdays at 12:15 pm ET · September 29 – November 19
Ten spots · Founding rate $797 · 11:15 am CT / 10:15 am MT / 9:15 am PT
The final call moves to Thursday, November 19 — I'm at a conference that Tuesday.
Enrollment closes Friday, September 25.
Who this is for
Women in their mid-forties and beyond, mostly. Still working and wanting something more. Or done working and wanting to build something of their own — the book, the small business, the thing they've been circling for years. Or still inside a situation that's political and chaotic and isn't going to improve, looking for peace with themselves while they're in it.
You belong here if any of these are true.
What actually changes
Eight weeks of doing it differently, with nine other women doing the same work. Here's what changes.
And here's what I won't promise you
He may still be exactly who he is. Your partner may still have the same three responses to the same conversation you've been having for eleven years. Your company may still be your company. I can't move them, and I'm not going to stand here and pretend otherwise.
What changes is you. You may not get a different result. You will feel entirely different having the conversation — and it won't ride home in the car and land on someone who didn't earn it.
How we work
You were always enough. Something taught you to doubt it, and you built a life around proving otherwise. These eight weeks are how you stop.
What happens in your body, your voice, and your thinking in the moment it happens. And underneath it, what you actually value, what you actually think, and what you already know about the room — the part that has been getting overridden the whole time. Then the pause you never used to have. Then the choice: what you want, how you want to do it, and who you want to be right there.
Awareness on its own leaves you knowing exactly what's happening and having nothing to do about it. Anchor is what you do with the pause. Somatic practices you run on yourself, taught as a range instead of a prescription, so you keep the two or three that are actually yours. Something that works at 9 pm on a Tuesday.
The repetitions happen in the first two stages. This is what's on the other side of them: you stop deciding to pause, your body reaches for the tool before your thinking catches up, and one day you handle something hard and only realize afterward that you never braced for it.
You learn it in order because that's how it gets into you.
What happens after is that the order stops mattering. Real life doesn't hand you a phase at a time. Your mother says the thing on a Sunday afternoon and awareness, pause, tool, and choice all arrive at once, in about four seconds, and you're not walking yourself through a method. You're just handling it.
That's the whole point of eight weeks. Long enough for a sequence to become a pattern, and for the pattern to become yours.
Here's why it works across your whole life at once. It's one woman running all of it. The same steadying that lets you finish your sentence in a meeting is what lets you tell a friend the truth about what you'd actually like to do on your birthday. You're not learning three sets of skills for three sets of problems. You never had three problems.
And you're not becoming someone new at this stage of your life. You're remembering who you were before you took all of this on, and coming back to her with a stronger foundation under you than she ever had.
What's inside One Woman
Not a course. Eight weeks of real coaching in a group small enough that nobody hides.
One hour, midday ET. Real coaching on your actual situation, with nine other women doing the same work. Every call is recorded and transcribed, so life happening doesn't put you behind.
Small enough that you speak every week. Small enough that by week three these women know your situation and you know theirs.
Something happens on a Wednesday and the next call is five days out. You post it in Grounded and I answer you there. So do the other women. You're not sitting with it alone until the next call comes around, and that doesn't stop at week eight.
The first eight weeks are covered by the program. Premium is the full level: the community, the library across Her Work, Her World, and Her Wisdom, the twice-monthly coaching calls, and Come Back to You, the somatic tool for the Tuesday night when a conversation went badly and the next call is days away.
Meet Denise
I spent more than 20 years inside corporate organizations, leading teams and carrying responsibility at every level. I know the pressure to perform and the cost of over-functioning. I know what it's like to be the capable one and feel completely unseen while you do it.
I also know what it takes to come back from that, because I did it myself.
Today I bring that together with training in counseling, behavioral work, and trauma-informed practice, so the women I work with can stop abandoning themselves in real time.

Questions
That's who I built it for. Plenty of the work in this room happens inside situations nobody is leaving — the job that pays for the house, the relationship worth staying in, the friendship you've had since your kids were small. The pattern doesn't require you to quit anything. It requires you to stop absorbing everything.
Every call is recorded and transcribed. Missing one doesn't put you behind. Missing several means you won't get what you came for, and I'd rather tell you that now.
Yes, eventually. That's the point. Nobody gets pushed in week one, and by week three you'll want to.
Yes. Two or three women go deep each week, ten to fifteen minutes each, rotating, so you get two full turns across the eight weeks. Everyone speaks briefly every single call. And watching me coach a woman whose situation rhymes with yours does more than you expect, because you can see it clearly when it isn't about you. Anything that comes up in between goes into Grounded, where I answer.
No. Your work, your relationships, and your inner life are one woman, not three problems. All three are on the table every week. Plenty of what comes up in this group has nothing to do with a job.
Yes. Some of these women are building something of their own now, some have stepped back from work entirely, and the pattern doesn't retire when the job does. It shows up with your mother, your partner, your friends, and your own calendar.
Inside Grounded, yes. That's where the conversation lives between sessions and where I answer. Your Premium membership starts the day you enroll and the first eight weeks are covered.
Your Grounded Premium membership continues at $297 a month, or $2,997 for the year. The two monthly coaching calls, Come Back to You, the library, and me between calls. If that's more than you want right now, Standard is $97 and keeps you in the room. Nothing auto-charges and nothing renews on its own — I'll ask you in week seven, and no is a real answer.
Some women run One Woman again with a new group, because the work sits differently once the first layer is gone. Some move to private coaching, if what surfaced needs its own hour. And some take what they built and go live it. That's a real answer too, and I mean it.
No. Coaching is forward-focused. Trauma-informed means I understand where your patterns came from and I won't push you past what you're ready for.
